About The Association for University and College Counseling Center Directors [AUCCCD] is a non-profit organization whose primary purposes are to promote the general institutional and professional practice and interests of university and college counseling centers.
    Goals are to:
  • Promote adherence to the highest standards of professional practice in the operation of college and university counseling centers
  • Identify, discuss, and clarify professional issues to the membership
  • Provide members with continuing professional education that contributes to the delivery of effective counseling services
  • Support quality training in counseling centers where it is both desired and feasible
  • Encourage engagement in counseling related research in general and program evaluation studies in particular
  • Advocate for the views of the organization and to represent those same views to relevant groups

Association of University Professors of Neurology [AUPN]

About The Association of University Professors of Neurology [AUPN] was founded in 1967. The organization has always served as a forum for the Chairs of Departments or Divisions of Neurology in accredited medical schools in the United States, or similar programs in Canada, to discuss mutual academic interests and concerns, and has served as a clearing house to disseminate background information on relevant legislative issues requiring concerted lobbying efforts.

About The Association of Women in Psychology [AWP], founded in 1969, is a not-for-profit scientific educational organization committed to encouraging feminist psychological research, theory, and activism.

Objectives:

  • Challenge unfounded assumptions about the psychological "natures" of women and men
  • Encourage feminist psychological research on sex and gender
  • Combat the oppression of women of color
